The Worm: From Stage to Page

Nightsong invites readers, families and supporters to help bring The Worm to bookshelves through a new Kickstarter campaign.

Originally created as an acclaimed theatre production by Peter Bland and Carl Bland, The Worm has captured the imaginations of audiences with its quirky humour, memorable characters and touching story about courage, empathy and belonging. Now, the story is being transformed into a beautifully illustrated 72-page hardcover children's book, with original illustrations by Carl Bland.

The Kickstarter campaign will fund the first print run, ensuring this uniquely New Zealand story can reach homes, schools and libraries around the country and beyond.

Supporters can choose from a range of rewards, including signed books, limited edition art prints, acknowledgements on the Nightsong website and invitations to celebrate the launch.

Every pledge, large or small, helps bring this charming story from stage to page.
