PAYPA Mentorship 2026

What do you need help with? We are delighted to invite practitioners or companies that make performing arts for/by/with young people to apply for PAYPA's 2026 Mentorship programme.

Participants will work with a mentor to grow their skills and/or practice within the sector. They will receive a (small) stipend for this mahi. This opportunity is for emerging artists and established practitioners who want to expand their professional development. Areas of focus could include:

• working collaboratively with children

• working with schools

• touring

• funding

• company management

• playwriting

• devising

• building international connections

…and more. The programme will run between May and December 2026. Each mentorship is bespoke, up to a maximum of 10 hours. Verbal and video submissions may also be submitted.
