Wanderlust: Nepal International Children's Theatre Festival
Open call for Plays and Activities
ASSITEJ Nepal
ASSITEJ Nepal and Theatre Centre for Children-TCC Nepal proudly announce WANDERLUST: Nepal International Children's Theatre Festival (Feb. 11-20, 2027). This festival will not be limited to the capital, Kathmandu, but will also travel to cities and villages in different provinces. This Festival is the first in the history and practice of Nepali children's theatre. It has set a goal of reaching more than 50,000 children through pre- and post-festival events, festival performances and various workshops and participatory programs.
Wanderlust is a joint initiative of ASSITEJ Mongolia, ASSITEJ Indonesia and ASSITEJ Nepal under the Asia Touring Festival. It was selected under the Regional Cooperation Programme of ASSITEJ International. This has been done in collaboration with the Nepal International Children's Theatre Festival, which was announced by TCC Nepal, the leading organisation in Nepal for theatre for children.
We call upon the international community of theatre for children to join this beautiful initiative.
NB. Wanderlust Nepal Fest can provide only the local logistics (food, accommodation, local transportation, some set props, sightseeing) for the festival participants.
