Massive Theatre Company’s School Workshops

‘Massive Makings’ are unique, tailor-made theatre workshops for schools. Massive’s Artistic Director Sam Scott consults with teachers to design the best possible theatre workshop for your students’ needs before our experienced Massive teaching artists will come into your secondary school and work with your students.

These workshops focus on how Massive makes theatre and puts the student in the ‘making’ seat. They are often used as a one-off experience of Massive’s practice, which may go on to influence the students’ future devising projects. They are also useful at the beginning of a devising unit of work, to get the students generating material and thinking around how and what they might create. If you have students working towards drama scholarships, bespoke workshops can be delivered to support this.

Even though Massive is based in Auckland, please note they travel nationally and internationally to deliver these workshops. Register interest now to book a workshop.
