I am an eager practitioner whose heart is set on fire by any prospect of directing live theatre. After graduating from Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington with a BA in Theatre and English Literature, I became actively involved with Tauranga Musical Theatre, with opportunities to solo-direct productions of West Side Story, All Together Now and That Bloody Woman. I am currently based in Auckland while completing my Masters of Drama qualification, combing practice and research to better understand the crucial role that the performing arts plays in Aotearoa and beyond. While specialising in directing, I embrace the collaborative nature of theatre-making, having held roles in stage management, dramaturgy, adjudication and youth mentoring.
