Amy Grace Laura
Amy Grace Laura is a Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington based creative artist and theatre-maker. She makes playful, fleeting, and socially charged art for young people and adults. Amy’s theatre for young audiences includes: 'period. a comedy about menstruation' – ideal for ages 8-13yrs and 16+ 'Paper Puppets' – ideal for ages 5-7yrs Amy has worked for Little Dog Barking Theatre Company, which was founded by the late Peter Wilson. During her time with the company, she worked with tabletop puppets and Chinese-inspired shadow puppets. Amy trained at the John Bolton Theatre School and holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Theatre Studies and an Advanced Associate Diploma in the Teaching of Speech and Drama with Speech New Zealand.
